On Mac OS X you can usually start an application only once by clicking the application icon in the dock or in the /Applications
folder. However, with a little trick you can have Mac OS X launch your application multiple times, to watch different streams at once or have one instance convert a video, while you want to listen to your favourite radio station in another instance.
